Most websites need databases to store and organize information, such as user accounts, posts, or product details. This helps the website show the right data to visitors and keep everything updated. Without a database, a website would not be able to save or manage important information properly.

In this guide from Boostedhost we are explaining in detail how to create a database.

1: Login to cPanel - by logging into your BoostedHost account.

2: Locate the Databases section - Find the "Database Wizard" Tab in Databases Section and click to open it.

3: Create Database Name - On the Database Wizard page, the first step is to create a database name. Choose the name carefully and save it somewhere safe for future use. Then, click on the Next Step button.

4: Create Database User and Password - On the next page, you will be asked to create a database username and password. For security reasons, choose a username different from the database name. Use the Password Generator to create a strong password, or enter one of your choice. Make sure to save these details in a safe place for future reference. Now, click on the Create User button.

5: Add User to the Database - The final step is to assign all privileges to the user and link the user to the database. To do this, check the "All Privileges" box to grant full access, or select only the privileges you need. Then, click on the Next Step button at the bottom of the page.

Congratulations! - You have successfully created the Database, Database User, and Password.

Isn't that simple?
