Backups save your website if something goes wrong, like a hack or a mistake. If your site gets deleted or broken, you can bring it back easily. This keeps your website safe and running.

Backups help you restore lost data quickly without losing important files. If something bad happens, you don’t have to start from zero. Your backup brings everything back just like before.

Having a backup means your website is always safe. Even if there is a big problem, you can fix it anytime. This gives you peace of mind and protects your hard work.

BoostedHost is providing free daily backups on every hosting plans and user can restore any backup from the last 30 days.

In this guide from BoostedHost we are explaining in detail how to create a manual backup.

1: Login to cPanel - by logging into your BoostedHost account.

2: Locate the Files Section - Find the "JetBackup 5" Tab in the Files Section and click to open it.

3: Locate the "Create Backup On Demand" - On the JetBackup 5 page, you will see all the automatically created backups, total utilized backup storage, backup alerts, full backups, and many other features. Find the "Create Backup on Demand" button and click on it. If you don't see this button, ask your hosting provider to activate it for your hosting account so you can create manual backups as well.

4: Create the Backup - When you click "Create Backup on Demand," a small pop-up message will appear asking for your permission to start the backup. Click OK, and you will instantly see a green pop-up alert on the screen confirming that the backup has been added to the queue.

5: Check Backup Progress - To check the status of your backup, whether it is completed or still in progress, click the Queue button to monitor the current backup process.

6: Congratulation! - You have successfully initiated the backup process. The completion time will depend on the size of your backup files, and the process will finish shortly.
